Our core values include a stronger economy, a free, quality education for all, an improved health care system, support for families and communities, and protection of the environment. One way we work towards making sure our vision is realized is by helping Democrats get elected in Hillsborough County and throughout Florida.

In this political climate, helping politicians is not enough. Many have lost faith in the Democratic Party and their leadership and are asking the question: “What have Democrats done that has helped me or helped my community?” That is why is is most important that we are a Club that is about action. The leadership and members of the East Hillsborough Democratic Club are committed to doing good in our community. We believe it is essential that we take action and actually live our values, rather than just talking about them.

Our Strategic Plan

Stop Talking. Start Doing. This is the mantra our club adopted in 2025 because we want to be change makers and we are going to effectuate change with the following strategic plan.

  1. Work – We will get involved and help solve problems in our community, visibly. We want people to know and to see that Democrats live the values that they espouse.
  2. Recruit – The more people that join our cause, the bigger our impact can be and the more people we can help in our community.
  3. Money, Volunteers, Voters – The work we do and the people we have will help us create financial leverage, have volunteers to offer community organizations and politicians, and to turn out voters.
  4. Influence – Once we have the tools, we can influence policy how we want it done.
  5. Do Good – It is simple: our members want to do good in this world and our strategic plan will help us achieve that.
